France's Fabrice Santoro won his first ATP title in over five years today, when he beat his compatriot, Nicolas Mahut 6-4 6-4 in final of the Campbell's Hall of Fame Championships in Newport, Rhode Island. It was the first time the pair had met, but the fourth seeded Santoro showed that experience counts as he won 87 percent of his first serve points. Mahut, the fifth seed for the champonships, was broken three times on the way to his 14th loss of the season. This victory gives Santoro his fifth ATP title of his career.
