Rafael Nadal has made it into the Wimbledon final for the second year in a row after Novak Djokovic retired injured with the score at 3-6 6-1 4-1 to the Spaniard.
The Serbian who took the opening set with some brutal hitting and all-court play, struggled with his movement as a result of painful toe blisters and could not challenge Nadal after his impressive start. Having survived marathon duels lasting a total of 9 hours with Lleyton Hewitt and Marcos Baghdatis in the two previous rounds without any time to recover, the disappointed Serb was forced to quit and afterwars critised the tournament officials for the scheduling.
Nadal will attempt to ruin Roger Federer's dream of a record equalling five Wimbledon's in a row.
