The world No.2 Jelena Jankovic claimed her second title of the year when she defeated an out of sorts Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-3 6-2 at the China Open in Beijing.

The win puts the Serb just 21 points behind world No.1 Serena Williams in the rankings.

"She does not really have a good record in the finals", Jankovic said of her Russian opponent. "She kind of has that problem in the back of her mind and it always helps when you are going to play."
