Started at age 6, won the 1st national championship in 2004 winter then 2004 summer, made same result. In 2005 won 2 of 2 time national champ, in 2005 his highest ranking in Europe was in top 10 in august (winning singles 1st category event in Munchen and made semi on the same category in Renningen). Finished on 14th, in the 2005 played 1st ITF event grade 4, won doubles and played singles semi, in the same year 2005 played man's national championship and won without dropping a set and at age of 16 become the Davis cup team member on position #3, in 2006 made 3 semi finals and 3 QFs on the ITF level and was 200 in the world, won men's national championship again in the singles and in the doubles also without droppnig a set, the davis cup team in which he was #3, that year won all 3 ties and started to play in the 1st euro/african group , 1st time in the history of Georgia. In 2007 played 1st individual professional tournament and took 1st ATP point, played 1st match for his country on Davis cup against Portugal in Tbilisi and lost 26 46 to Pedro Sousa, also played 2nd match for his country on position #2 against Serbian team where opponent was #3 in the world Novak Djokovic and also lost 16 05 ret. at 2007 october 13 won men's national championship 3rd time in a row, all 3 time without droping a set and without any tiebreak in 3 years,finished 3rd season by wining last match!
