World number three Jelena Jankovic has already started working on helping children around the world, after this week being announced, alongside fellow Serbian Ana Ivanovic, as a UNICEF National Ambassador.
Jankovic has shown her artistic side to raise money in Bali this week, by producing two works of art ready for auction. Her first project was a joint effort with Atlas South Sea Pearl, which saw the 22 year old string together a luxurious necklace. The proceeds raised from the sale will go to UNICEF Serbia and UNICEF Indonesia.
After displaying her skills in jewellery making, Jankovic, along with Thailand's Tamarine Tanasugarn, also donated her one of a kind painting, which will raise money for UNICEF's immunisation program.
With Ivanovic concentrating on children's education, Jankovic will be working on improving children's rights throughout her native Serbia.
